This flowing geometry was inspired by an earlier, smaller piece, "Drapes", which was a favorite at the 2019 East Austin Studio Tour. Each of the 32 slices are cut from a nested layout that optimizes the yield of sustainably sourced baltic-birch. Every part is hand-chamfered, sanded three times, and sealed with a no-VOC water-based finish by our crack team of local craftsmen.
